Key Personnel:
The Principal Geotechnical Engineer of Texas Geotechnical Consultants, LLC (TGC) is Mr. Jay Vaghela, MSCE, PE. Mr. Vaghela has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Geotechnical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and has over 25 years of experience performing similar consulting services in the greater Houston area and all over Texas. Mr. Vaghela is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas and is eligible for license in several other states. Mr. Vaghela is also precertified with TxDOT for performing geotechnical studies.
Mr. Vaghela has performed several thousand studies over the years for projects involving custom and spec homes, residential subdivision developments, multi-family developments, commercial buildings, shopping complexes, offices, chain stores, gas stations, warehouses, metal buildings, high rise buildings and garages, industrial facilities, tower structures, airplane hangers, school and college buildings, streets and utilities, pipelines, parking lots, bridges and underpasses, retaining walls inluding sheet piles, soldier piles and drilled pier walls, detention ponds and amenity lakes, levees, wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, slope stability analysis and stabilization, settlement analysis, storage tanks, silos, giant park rides, machine foundation, foundation and pavement failure analysis and repair, etc.
